“It is health not wealth that are the real pieces of gold and silver”.
So, it is finally out in the news today that E Cigarettes could actually be bad for you. I must admit that as a hypnotherapist I was wondering when the penny would drop for those who have been holding onto the idea that smoking an e ciggie just doesn’t count as smoking, or that the chemicals that react within the handheld plastic tube is somehow perfectly ok to inhale into your respiratory system, with no side effects whatsoever.
The NHS are in desperate need of an answer to the various health crisis that they are faced with are trying to find a middle ground also, as cancer and heart disease are increased as they are considered to be smoking related. The shame of the matter is that hypnotherapy and hypnosis has been long know to be one of the best methods for stop smoking, and yet e cigarettes are being offered as a solution.
Sadly what people do not always take into account is that it is the very wealthy investors of the tobacco industry that actually are connected to cigarettes, patches, gums and yes the E Cigarette too! The NHS are offering out these temporary fixes in order to promote health and yet the money goes straight back to those responsible for millions of cancer deaths in the first place, yes you have guessed right… it goes to the tobacco industry. They just can’t lose either way in fact.
Hypnotherapy however, is a natural, non invasive therapy which can help us to come to terms and take personal responsibility for the smoking that may have damaged us over the years. Hypnosis is a very rewarding and relaxing experience which holds many health benefits, helping to enhance your natural resilience through your subconscious mind. Once you have decided that you have had enough of smoking, and that you wish to stop, then that is the first step towards health, wellness and freedom.
The next step is to recognise in truth why you wish to stop, and list 3 reasons that you can look back on with pride at a later date. By doing this, you are reconfirming to your subconscious mind that you are in a place of recognition and not denial.
Finally (and here is the exciting bit) you get to pick a special date to stop, you could even tell loved one’s or organise a friend or a group of work colleagues to also stop with you on that very day! Then you just pick up the phone, make your hypnotherapy appointment and look forward to the relaxing experience that is there for you to enjoy.
